We are on the front lines of the battle against IP theft and unfair competition. At every turn, we are working to level the playing field so that your business can thrive. We offer free legal advice to members — evaluate instances of IP theft, guide in gathering evidence, and bring cases to the attention of a state Attorney General. We will stand by your side every step of the way.
NAJI’s member involvement program gives you the opportunity to influence key policy debates that affect your competitiveness. In addition, our events, publications and online communications keep you informed and up-to-date on current IP and unfair competition issues.
We give presentations featuring NAJI Directors, members and industry experts and can tailor events especially for you.
Finally, we are prepared to advocate on your behalf and build third-party support and awareness for issues of critical importance to your company and to U.S. manufacturers, including: developing and executing campaign strategies, educating lawmakers and policy officials, organizing NAJI member letters to government officials, testifying in front of Congress, publishing op-eds and articles, organizing policy roundtables and events, and more.
“We joined NAJI because innovation like this is worth protecting.” – Mike Kilchenstein, President, RAMP Sports
Is there a time commitment?
Members receive our monthly newsletter, are listed on our website and have opportunities to be featured in our monthly member profile series, learn about IP best practices, and investigate possible remedies to unfair competition. There is no time commitment required to be a member, but further leadership and engagement opportunities are available.
Take Action – Membership Levels
Although not required, we welcome and ask companies and individuals to contribute and join as a dues-paying member. Your contribution, determined by your company size or what you can afford, will help more U.S. manufacturers fight IP theft. It could be the difference between a thriving manufacturing sector or increased job loss and economic hardship. With your help we can do so much more.
